This project implemented a high-capacity, automated solar water pumping system for agricultural irrigation in China, demonstrating a commitment to large-scale sustainable water management.

  • Solar Array: A 24 kW photovoltaic system configured with 80 panels, each rated at 300 watts

  • Water Pump: A high-power three-phase AC pump, operating at 380V with a power rating of 18 kW, suitable for deep well or high-volume water extraction.

  • Solar Pump Inverter: A specialized solar pump inverter (model: SP4022) with a significant capacity of 122 kW. This unit converts DC from the solar panels to AC for the pump, incorporating Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to optimize energy harvest from the solar array. Its high power rating ensures compatibility with the large pump and solar array.

  • Automation: The system featured automatic start and stop functionality, likely based on water level sensors or time-based controllers, enabling unattended operation.

This large-scale installation provided a reliable irrigation solution, contributing to:
